Gulmohar

Gulmohar also known as Royal Poinciana is a tree native to Madagascar that has been naturalized in India.

-The flowers are a vibrant red and bloom over the summers. It is a deciduous tree in dry climates but otherwise it’s evergreen.

-The tree is widely planted as a roadside tree and is greatly used for its ornamental value.

-Gulmohar also possesses medicinal properties and is known to be cardioprotective among other medicinal uses.
