Copper pod

✅Commonly called Copper pod in English or Pila Gulmohar in Hindi is a very handsome tree with Gulmohar-like feathery leaves.

✅This tree is native to the Indo-China range and Northern Australia. It is grown popularly as an ornamental plant around the world.

✅The flowers are bright yellow and are used as decorations in the Batukamma festival in Telangana.

✅The wood of the Copper pod tree is used for multiple purposes including cabinet making. Leaves are used to feed cattle.

✅There are many individuals in bloom of Copper pod trees in the Empress Botanical Garden and around Pune city.
