On the occassion of Wildlife Week, Rupa Rahul Bajaj Centre for Environment & Art brings to you an amazing line-up of online programmes from 2nd to 8th October!
Date with Nature – Let’s bask in Nature’s Literary Splendour.
This time’s theme is WILDLIFE and how humans and wildlife interact with each other

Fire: a Cherokee folk tale (intangible heritage/oral traditions), English translation by S E Schlosser – read by Sarita Ragade
An excerpt and a poem from ‘Wonders of Indian Wilderness’ by Dr. Erach Bharucha – read by Dr. Erach Bharucha
Marathi reading from ‘Shiwar’, Translation by G A Kulkarni of Conrad Richter’s famous trilogy, The Awakening Land – read by Dr. Priyadarshini Karve
The Girl who fought the Lion – Charan Kanya, a Gujarati poem by Zaverchand Meghani – read by Vishal Bhavsar
English reading from ‘The Desert is Theirs’ by Byrd Baylor – Read by Dr. Dhanashree Paranjape
Excerpt from ‘Eka Raanvedyachi Shodhyatra’, Marathi book by Krishnamegh Kunte – read by Yashashree Punekar
